Nia joined the firm in February 2006 as a Paralegal in the Defendant Insurance Department. She built up on her existing Commercial Litigation experience by undertaking personal injury work, assisting senior fee earners on their cases as well as handling her own caseload. She also undertook her own advocacy at hearings in the County Court.
Nia was subsequently awarded a Training Contract in March 2008 where she undertook seats in both the Defendant Insurance Department and the Employment Department.
Nia qualified as a Solicitor in September 2009 and now practices in the Employment Department where she is developing her experience in a broad range of employment matters. She has advised Claimants on their employment rights in relation to areas such as Unfair Dismissal, Redundancy, Discrimination and Compromise Agreements.
Nia is proficient in both French and Italian.
